Shay Sparks is a Real Estate Manager with UGDC: a family office co-investment platform focused on the investment, development, and management of single-tenant, net-lease retail and industrial properties globally. Shay joined UGDC in 2025 and currently plays a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring strategic land parcels and existing buildings for ground-up build to suit development projects.  Shay is also responsible for working with 3rd party brokers to secure lease properties for clients and sourcing opportunities that align with our client’s growth objectives and vision.

Prior to working with UGDC, Shay worked at several strong retail and hospitality companies, where she gained extensive experience in real estate law, real estate development, and property management. Shay graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington with a bachelor’s degree and pursued additional coursework in Real Estate Law at SMU.  Shay lives in the gorgeous mountains ofEastern Kentucky, and when she is not working, she can be found at a softball field with her daughter!
