Michael Russo is a Director of Construction for UGDC, a family office co-investment platform focused on the investment, development, and management of single-tenant, net-lease retail and industrial properties globally. Michael joined UGDC in 2023 and works with the real estate and development teams on the Lightbridge Academy and several other specialized accounts.

With over 25 years of engineering, construction project management and development experience throughout the country, Michael provides a unique and valuable perspective while navigating complex projects to successful completion. His expertise includes convenience, energy, industrial, restaurant, retail, self-storage, and warehouse market sectors. He has developed strategies in different market sectors to build successful teams to design, develop and construct projects on time and on budget with several concepts across the US.

Prior to working with UGDC, Michael led teams for the development and construction of storage facilities comprising over 1.75 million SF for a national development company. Michael also recently completed 2.5 million SF in NJ, NY, and PA markets as the lead for a substantial warehouse general contracting firm. Michael graduated from Valparaiso University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
