Alex Makoske is a Senior Construction Accountant with UGDC,a family office co-investment platform focused on the investment, development,and management of single-tenant, net-lease retail and industrial propertiesglobally. Alex joined UGDC in 2024 and currently manages the financial aspectsof development projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financialreporting. Alex also oversees all draw requests, ensuring accurate and timelybilling, and works closely with lenders to manage financing and cash flow. Additionally,Alex ensures compliance with contracts, taxes, and internal controls, whilealso collaborating with project managers and supporting the accounting team. 

Alex is an experienced accountant with 6 years ofexperience. He spent the last few years leading the accounting efforts for allaspects of a major development project with budgets exceeding $1 billion. Hehas experience in preparing and reviewing Anticipated Cost Reports andQuarterly and Annual financial statements to present to all business teams.

Prior to working with UGDC, Alex worked at The RelatedCompanies on the Development Accounting team. He graduated from St. John’sUniversity’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business with a Master’s degree inAccounting and Salve Regina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
